Time Lapse Build, 196cc nashmoto Racer | 2012

Shot from February 9 to April 2, 2012. The complete build from start to finish. Many changes have been made to improve on the initial design and build. The original NuVinci hub could not handle the 196cc engine so a fixed gear drive his handling the output now. Clutch related vibration is still a problem. Even so, topped out at 51mph last race and finishing 1st. in the final at Grange Motor Circuit June 2, 2012.
A special thanks to so many people that helped make this bike possible. My brothers, Greg and Kevin providing plasma cutting and aluminum welding for crucial parts. Dennis Reilley building the wheels on tight deadlines, never complaining and doing a great job. Brett VanNatta welding in very long sessions even when equipment was acting up. Shane at AGK for his expertise, the engine, manifold and various parts that make this thing go. Jim Donovan Jr. of PFEIFER INDUSTRIES for figuring out the gearing ratios and putting together the belt drive and clutch parts for me. And Alexander Mitchell of York Machine Works here in town for machining and welding the parts I couldn't handle and sometimes doing it same day so I could make it to the races.
